How do I Clear Cache and Cookies in Firefox for both Desktop and Mobile browser

To clear cache and cookies in Firefox, follow the steps detailed below:

Clear Cache and Cookies in Firefox (Desktop)

Method 1: Clearing Cache

Step1: Open Mozilla Firefox.

Step 2: Click on the menu icon located at the top right corner and choose Options.Firefox-setting

Method 2: Clear Cache and Cookies.

Step 1: Open Firefox browser.

Step 2: Click on the menu icon and select Options.

Step 3: Under Privacy section, Click Clear your recent history.

Step 5: A new dialog box will open, from the drop-down menu labeled “Time range to clear“, select “Everything“.

Shortcut: Pressing Ctrl+Shift+delete keys from the keyboard will skip the above 5 steps.

Important: If you want to clear all the Firefox Cached stored data such as browsing and download history, offline website Data and stored login details, check all the options

Step 5: Click Clear Now to clear the selected options.

Method 3: Automatically Clear Cache and Cookies when Firefox closes

If you want Firefox to Clear Cache and Cookies automatically, you need to set Firefox to automatically clear the cache, when Firefox closes.

Step 1: Click the menu icon and select Options.

Step 2: Under Privacy section, go to History, from the drop-down menu, change “Firefox will:” to “Use custom settings for history”.automatically-clear-cache-cookies

Step 3: Now tick the checkbox labeled: Clear History when Firefox closes. and click the Settings button next to it.

Step 4: Mark the checkbox “Cookies” and “Cache” and click OK.check-cookies-cache

Now every time you close the Firefox, it will automatically clear cache and cookies data.

Step 1: Open Firefox app and tap on the menu icon (3 dots) at the top right corner and click on Settings.Firefox-app-settings
