If you are using Google Chrome web browser on Windows and Mac OS, then you should be aware of that Chrome saves browsing data for the websites you’ve visited in the last 90 days. However, it doesn’t record your browsing history at all, if you browse with Incognito mode.

Follow steps below to delete all your browsing data

Step #1. Open Chrome browser on your computer.

Step #2: Click menu icon (3-vertical dot) at the top right corner and then click History > History.

OR Go to menu icon > More Tools > Clear browsing data. See screenshot below.

Step #3: Here, you’ll your full web history. Click Clear browsing data on the left, a box will come up.

Step #4: From the drop-down menu, select the beginning of time to delete all the history.

Step #5: Check all the boxes inside the dialog box and then hit the Clear browsing data button as shown in the screenshot below.

This way, you’ll be able to delete your Chrome browser’s complete browsing history. In addition, you’ll be signed out of every account you logged in before.

Delete a specific item from the history

To delete specific items from your Chrome browsing data, follow this:

  1. Open Chrome browser.
  2. Click (3-vertical dot) icon at the top right corner.
  3. A drop-down menu will open. Click History > History.
  4. Check the specific item that you want to remove.
  5. Click Clear browsing data.

Delete Chrome browsing data on Android

To remove browsing history of your Chrome app on Android devices, follow the simple steps below:

  1. Open Chrome app on your Android device.
  2. Tap more icon(3-vertical dot) from the top-right corner and then tap History.
  3. Tap Clear browsing data.
  4. Check all the boxes to delete everything.
  5. Choose All time next to the ‘Time range’. This option makes sure all your stored browsing data will be deleted.
  6. Tap Clear data at the bottom.

  1. Open Chrome app.
  2. Tap more icon > History.
  3. Check the item you want to delete.
  4. Tap Clear data.
